These achievements didn\u2019t happen by accident. They were the result of\u00a0<strong>community health workers<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>medical professionals<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>scientists<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>advocates<\/strong>\u00a0pushing for policies grounded in evidence and focused on equity.<\/p>\n<p>Yet too often, these once-unimaginable gains are taken for granted.\u00a0<strong>National Public Health Week (NPHW) 2026<\/strong>\u00a0invites all Americans to renew their commitment to strengthening the systems, science, and community partnerships that keep us healthy.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme \u2014\u00a0<strong>Ready. Set. Action!<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 calls on each of us to look back at the progress we\u2019ve made and look forward to the steps needed for an even healthier future.
